Privacy Notice
How SkyDibia handles information across public Wi-Fi, commerce, installations, support, Platform and partner workflows.
Last updated: 2026-09-27
These sections describe how SkyDibia presently delivers and protects the relevant service or customer relationship.
Sections marked Pending legal review identify standard legal or commercial clauses that are still being finalised with qualified Nigerian legal input.
1. Scope
This Privacy Notice covers information handled across SkyDibia public Wi-Fi, customer access, equipment and service orders, installation and assessment requests, support, the SkyDibia Platform, licensing enquiries and expansion or partner workflows.
2. Information we handle
Depending on the service you use, SkyDibia may handle:
- Identity and contact information such as name, email address and phone number.
- Customer, order and payment records, including order or payment references and payment-confirmation status.
- Public Wi-Fi and network-access records such as voucher details, plan information, device identifiers, login/session timestamps and technical access events.
- Site, installation, assessment and support information that you provide for a home, business, institution or hotspot location.
- Platform and licensing-enquiry information, including intended use, network environment, requested capabilities and operating responsibilities.
- Host, Technical Operator, Scout and expansion information submitted through the relevant application or enquiry route.
- Support messages, correspondence and operational records created while handling your request or service relationship.
3. Why we use information
SkyDibia uses relevant information to provide customer access, verify payments, fulfil orders, respond to enquiries, assess sites, deliver installation and support, operate Platform or partner workflows, investigate service issues, protect systems and maintain accountable operational records.
We do not use a broader category of information simply because it is available; the information used should match the service or operational purpose.
4. Payments and external service providers
Payments may be processed through an external payment provider. SkyDibia records the references and payment status needed to match a payment to the relevant voucher, order or customer relationship; payment-card details are handled through the payment provider’s own payment environment.
SkyDibia may also rely on hosting, email, connectivity, delivery or other service providers where they are needed to operate the service.
5. Sharing and disclosure
SkyDibia does not sell customer personal information. Information may be shared with service providers or authorised personnel where necessary to deliver, secure, support or administer the relevant service, or where disclosure is required through a lawful process.
6. Security and access control
SkyDibia uses role-based access, protected customer and partner sessions, server-side payment verification, operational logging and network controls to reduce unauthorised access or misuse. No online service can promise absolute security, so customers should also protect their own devices, credentials and email accounts.
Network-integrity controls are described in the Security & Network Integrity page.
7. Retention and operational records
SkyDibia maintains records needed to deliver services, investigate issues, support customers, maintain security and keep appropriate operational or transaction history.
A final category-by-category retention schedule and standard deletion timetable are still being prepared for formal publication.
8. Privacy requests and formal notices
Customers can contact support@skydibia.com about personal information, account records or a privacy concern. SkyDibia will route the request to the appropriate operational contact.
The final published procedure for formal privacy-rights requests, response timelines, processor disclosures, cross-border data arrangements and legal-controller notice details is pending qualified legal review.
