SkyDibia Platform · Licensing

Platform relationship first. Licensing only where licensing is the relationship.

SkyDibia Platform can support a customer-operated hotspot, form part of a SkyDibia-managed service, or be independently licensed for an existing operating environment. Those relationships are not interchangeable.

Commercial pathways

The Platform discussion starts with who operates the service and what access they actually require.

Neither route is an instant software checkout. The implementation and responsibilities have to fit the real operating environment.

PATHWAY 01

Customer-operated hotspot + SkyDibia Platform

For an approved hotspot where the customer or their staff operates the business and SkyDibia Platform forms part of the agreed operating solution.

  • Hotspot scope is assessed first.
  • Platform access and responsibilities are defined for the customer-operated model.
  • Deployment, training and support can be separately scoped.

PATHWAY 02

SkyDibia-managed hotspot

For a hotspot owner who wants SkyDibia to perform the agreed operational role. SkyDibia uses the Platform to operate the service; owner visibility does not automatically become an independent Platform licence.

  • Managed-service scope is defined separately.
  • Owner/business visibility can be agreed without granting infrastructure administration.
  • Operating responsibilities remain with SkyDibia to the extent stated in the agreement.

PATHWAY 03

Independent Platform licensing

For an organisation that already has or controls its connectivity environment and wants to operate SkyDibia Platform under separately approved licensing terms.

  • Architecture and integration fit are reviewed.
  • Permitted use, hosting, support and controls are agreed.
  • No hotspot build or SkyDibia-managed operation is implied.

What gets assessed

Licensing is more than permission to open the software.

A workable deployment needs agreement across technology, operations, responsibilities and commercial terms.

01

Architecture

Network environment, access flow, hosting assumptions, isolation requirements and technical compatibility.

02

Operating responsibility

Who manages customers, payments, technical review, access decisions, support and operational records.

03

Data and controls

Data responsibilities, authorised users, audit visibility and the human-review boundary around consequential actions.

04

Commercial scope

Permitted use, support, limits, pricing and other terms that must be expressly agreed.

From interest to an agreed deployment

A controlled path before live use.

Each stage narrows uncertainty before implementation authority is considered.

01

Discuss the operation

Explain intended use, ownership, customers and the existing or proposed network.

02

Review technical fit

Assess architecture, compatibility, responsibilities, hosting assumptions and integration needs.

03

Agree terms

Define permitted use, commercial conditions, support boundaries and relevant legal responsibilities.

04

Authorise implementation separately

Complete controlled onboarding and validation before any approved live deployment.

Important boundaries

This page does not grant deployment or commercial rights.

These boundaries keep the public offer accurate while licensing, hosting and support models are still assessed case by case.

No direct licence checkout

Platform licensing is not part of merchandise checkout and no public price is implied here.

No automatic hosting or tenant right

Hosting, isolation and tenant architecture require an approved technical model.

No white-label or resale right

No white-label, redistribution, resale or sublicensing right is granted by this page.

No unsupported service commitment

Support scope, response commitments and usage limits must be stated in the agreed commercial terms.
