Fair Usage & Acceptable Use

Rules that protect shared connectivity, customer access and network stability.

Last updated: 2026-09-27

Current operating rules

These sections describe how SkyDibia presently delivers and protects the relevant service or customer relationship.

Selected legal wording pending review

Sections marked Pending legal review identify standard legal or commercial clauses that are still being finalised with qualified Nigerian legal input.

Current operating rule

1. Purpose and scope

This policy protects shared connectivity, customer access and network stability. It applies where customers use SkyDibia public Wi-Fi, hotspot access, vouchers or other shared-access services.

Current operating rule

2. Plans, devices and access credentials

The active plan defines the applicable validity and device allowance. Customers should keep vouchers and access credentials private and use them only within the purchased entitlement.

Technical controls may enforce plan, session and device rules where required for the service to operate as sold.

Current operating rule

3. Fair capacity and performance management

Shared connectivity has finite backhaul and radio capacity. SkyDibia may manage sessions, bandwidth or network resources to protect service stability and reasonable access for other users.

Unless an approved service specifically states otherwise, access should not be interpreted as an unlimited speed, unlimited-device or guaranteed-throughput service.

Current operating rule

4. Prohibited use

  • Sharing or reselling access beyond the purchased or authorised entitlement.
  • Bypassing device, session, authentication, payment or other technical controls.
  • Interfering with network equipment, services or another user’s access.
  • Fraudulent activity, credential misuse, impersonation or unauthorised access.
  • Using the service to facilitate unlawful activity.
Current operating rule

5. Investigation and enforcement

Network and session evidence may be used to investigate suspected abuse or service-impacting activity. Routine technical controls can enforce configured session or device rules. Material warnings, restrictions or restorations should remain traceable to authorised human review rather than being presented as unaccountable automatic punishment.

A customer who believes a restriction is incorrect can contact Support for review.

Pending legal review

6. Enforcement, escalation and appeal wording

The final standard wording for enforcement stages, notice periods, appeal handling, evidence retention and regulatory or law-enforcement response remains pending qualified legal review.
